How I would have preferred Silver Snow. Posted: 19 Feb 2020 01:18 PM PST Rhea is probably my favorite character in the game, and I absolutely love her Seiros design. Therefore, I wish we had gotten Seiros as a unit in SS. She could have been the Lord of that route, replacing Edelgard. It's easy to write. Let's say that, instead of being taken prisoner by the Empire, Rhea escapes with Seteth and Flayn. She's there to meet Byleth after they reunite with Edelgard in the goddess tower, and is overjoyed that they're alive. With Byleth now found, Rhea is inspired to lead the fight against the Empire. She sheds her Archbishop robes, dons her old armor, and becomes Seiros once more. From there, things proceed pretty much the same. She still blocks the javelins of light, and is still wounded. However, she isn't as badly hurt as in VW because she wasn't kept a prisoner for 5 years. Therefore she isn't mortally wounded, and doesn't go berserk at the end. Instead, Nemesis returns like in Verdant Wind. She and Byleth have to team up to beat him, because he's stronger than when she faced him last, but they beat him in a 2 on 1 straight cutscene fight. No trickery. In the end, she resumes her post as Archbishop no matter what. If you S Support her, she and Byleth marry and lead the United Kingdom of Fodlan together. Thoughts? I still love SS, but I feel that Rhea was very underutilized. [link] [comments] |
