What Scrapped Features/Gimmicks Do You Wish Were Kept In 3 Houses? Posted: 16 Nov 2020 02:32 PM PST Personally, my absolute favourite mechanic that didnt become a series staple was the pair ups and group attacks in Fates, it made the player consider positioning a lot more and played heavily into supports between characters helping it feel like they were actually working together between the support conversations. While the mechanic was extremely powerful the enemy AI could use it too, and honestly batallions feel like a less interesting version as its a number of faceless soldiers rather than the unique characters that we care about. I'd also love the combat scale of FE4 to comeback, I loved just how big the armies were. The main thing that hurt the size was the arena grinding, but the boring arena grind was replaced with a better system in modern games so I think if reintroduced in the modern FE era it would be better than ever! What are some of the strongest enemy classes across the whole series and in individual games? Posted: 16 Nov 2020 05:36 PM PST When it comes to players, we know that usually classes like cavaliers and wyvern riders are good, and ones like archers and armor knights are usually bad. But what about enemy class viability? Some classes I think are usually good as enemies are mercenaries, (have a good balance of strength, speed, and bulk making them dangerous and hard to kill) bow cavaliers, (massive threat range and tend to be decently fast) and fliers (can bunch up in mountains or seas where you can't have a lot of units, and attack from where you can't reach them first).
