    Why is Dimitri's hair in CF so messy? He had literally been living in Faerghus for the past five years and you're telling me he couldn't afford a barber? Did Ingrid just really think it looked cool and convinced him to keep growing it out and never wash it? Did Sylvain tell Dimitri that messier hair would make him stronger in battle as a prank, but Dimitri took it seriously and never realized he was being pranked for five years? Was it like Merovignian France where having long hair was seen as a symbol of status/royalty? Did Dimitri just really think it looked cool and never got a haircut even though literally everyone around him was telling him to wash his hair because it was getting really smelly after not washing it for five years? Dimitri's dialogue in CF suggests that he has a son, so maybe he looked pretty normal until he got married and his wife REALLY liked the look so he stopped washing his hair and started wearing animal skins?

    I can't believe that IS left this plot hole in the game. It completely ruins the game's story 😡😡😡😡

    Okay obviously the reason why Dimitri looks like that in CF is because IS didn't want to completely redo his character model and his portraits (also I'm pretty sure Is outsourced the artwork for 3H, but don't quote me on that) for a verison of him that would only appear in one chapter. But that's not gonna stop me from making jokes about it

    Take a look at the Three Houses timeline: Before Dedue came around, Dimitri had the same haircut that he had post-time skip. I know this because of the cutscenes with Edelgard before Dedue.

    But pre-time skip, when Dedue is around, Dimitri had a new and better hairstyle.

    And then, when Dedue dies post time skip, Dimitri has that weird messy hair that he never washes again. And Dedue's hair is arguably fantastic throughout the whole game. So maybe (just maybe) Dedue is the reason why Dimitri's hair doesn't look like a total mess pre-time skip.

    Except this theory is completely debunked because, in CW (where Dedue never "dies"), Dimitri has the same hair as he did in AM. So, you just read absolutely nothing. Contact my lawyer if you want to hear more.
