    Updates to flairing on r/fireemblem

    Flairing on r/fireemblem has long been exclusive to the "old" Reddit experience. However, as we move through the years, more and more of users navigate r/fireemblem using the "new" or "redesign" Reddit experience. The moderation team wanted as many users as possible to be able to rep their favorite Fire Emblem characters, so we are happy to announce that flairing is now supported on both "old" and "new" Reddit.

    But that's not all! Fire Emblem is a series that spans decades, with an enormous roster of heroes and villains. We currently support over 1200 flair options, in fact. It's hard to choose just one favorite with so many options available. As such, we are excited to announce that you can now rep up to 5 characters for your flair!

    In order to select more than one character, follow the normal procedure of selecting a flair on the Flair Change page. When you select a character, you may notice that you are redirected to a message to our helpful flair bot, u/Bot-ta_The_Beast. Instead of simply sending the message to Bot-ta with one flair message, send a message with flair codes in whatever order you want the characters to appear in.

    For instance, say I want to rep Hector's portrait and Eliwood's official art as my flairs. I first go to the Flair Change page and select Hector.

    I take note that the code that this would send Botta is :Hector-4: and return to the Flair page.

    Now I select Eliwood.

    Now, I can combine these two in the same message, separated by a line break and send it off to Botta!

    As a result, I'm given two flairs!

    Obviously, this process is not particularly user-friendly. We will work on streamlining this process in the future for greater ease, but we wanted to share this fun feature with the subreddit as soon as possible!     Effie was an awesome subversion of a tough tomboy trope in the Japanese original, since it is implied she would have that gruff and tough tomboy-esque voice, and be super muscular and with the same hunger as localized Effie...but she'd be super duper shy.     Do you prefer the Awakening support bonuses or the Fates ones

    Hi,

    Do you prefer the support bonuses of Awakening, depending on class and making units of the same class mostly similar in pair up bonuses (which makes Pegasus knight a great pair up partner with massive speed and res bonuses, swordmasters great speed supports, and si on) or Fates personal support bonuses that makes certain units inferior bakcpacks to others in the same class (Arthur for example)?

    Personally I prefer Awakening's because I can use any unit of the same class as a backpack with the same results and there's no worse backpack of the same class, the only difference is the additional stats for every ten points of stats.

    In Fates there are units who give absolutely crappy support bonuses, like Odin who's inferior to Nyx in every possible way as a backpack on top of having crappy stats himself and being much further from promotion. Camilla gives better bonuses than Beruka as if her superiority as a lead unit wasn't bad enough.

    Finished my second run on Fire Emblem: Three Houses

    I've just finished my second run with the game, this time with Golden Deer. I must say i'm completely amazed by this game, can't believe the ending left me pretty malinconic for the second time.

    I'm glad i started with Blue Lions, as the Flame Emperor's identity was treated with an epic plot twist there, and also Dimitri amazing character progression. I must say tho that Golden Deer route shines the most towards the ending, revealing much lore and answering many questions. Now i can't wait to play with Black Eagles (and the route where i remain with Edelgard), hoping to get a completely new prospective!
