    Shadows of Valentia Discussion Series - Tatiana: Amiable Cleric

    Today, we are discussing Tatiana.

    Tatiana is a playable character in Shadows of Valentia.

    Tatiana is a Rigelian saint who was orphaned at a young age. Raised in an orphanage run by the Church of Rigel, Tatiana joined the clergy in order to repay the church for raising her.

    When she discovered the body of an unconcious man with grevious wounds, she nursed him back to health, and during this time, the two fell in love. Thee man eventually draws the attention of Emperor Rudolf who admires his combat prowess, quickly ascending the ranks of the Rigelian army and becoming close to the Emperor himself. Rudolf named the man Ezekiel, Zeke for short. When the war breaks out, Zeke is against this, resulting in Nuibaba kindapping Tatiana to force him to comply.

    After Alm defeats Nuibaba, he rescues Tatiana from her cell. Grateful for their rescue, she asks to join the army so Zeke will stop fighting for Jerome. When the Deliverance Army nears Rigel Village, they encounter Jerome and Zeke. After Tatiana talks to Zeke, he turns his blade on the Rigellian forces, and assists Alm in defeating them.

    After the war, Tatiana lives a happy life with Zeke. A part of her wished that Zeke would never recover his memories. Unbeknownst to her, he already had, but he kept this knowledge to himself.

    FE4: CH 9. Crazy Hordes. Moving Bosses. And Obscure Recruitment. What a ride it was.

    CH 9 for me is Seliph going towards the endgame of Gen 2. I also feel like after the end of CH 8 was pretty lax. CH 9 throws a ton of shit at you to prepare you for the incoming cluster fucks of 10 and the Final Chapter. But as crazy as I found some of the scenarios in 9. What helped tremendously was my army is fucking stacked at this point.

    Personally for me, once most of your army promotes in Gen 2. Hordes aren't nearly as threatening, especially if you keep your army together most of the time. To why I can see why CH 9 can be considered a nightmare chapter if one hasn't promoted many units.

    Between Altena coming at you and trying to position Leif to talk to her. His ass is having a hard time leveling so he's still footlocked, but those other Dracos were pushovers, and I manipulated Altena's AI to only use the Javelin I left her. Then Lief talked to his sister, and she went on to be recruited post Travant.

    And Travant. Travant. My man. I thought you were gonna be slightly more threatening then he was. His AI janked bad. And he went after Ares, and Ares wrecked him. I loved it. Justice for Cuan and Ethlyn. And Altena finally found out the truth. And she's a queen for standing up to him.

    Then came Hannibal and trying to find out a way to recruit his old ass whole saving Caipre in the other castle. So I had my paired up Seliph and promoted Tine wipe out the top half of Hannibal's crew. Fee blocked off the castle next turn, as the rest of my horses and my fav duo nuked the bottom half of Hannibal's team.

    Seliph and Tine then went and saved Caipre and I got Hannibal on our side. What a crazy ass recruitment requirement for a damn General and a level 1 priest. Seriously. Level ONE. Thankfully Claud was his Dad, and as long as he stays a safer distance he can use Psycic and Fortify without being in the front lines.

    But then we had a horse group come, and they were nothing. And with Seliph, Tine, and Ares they avoid tanked that bottom castle for them to take it with ease. Then Arion sent out his three battalions of dracos. And that part was awesome.

    My bottom part of the army cleared out one with Altena taking out the stragglers. Hannibal and Fee guarding one castle took out another. And Arthur was warped to the home castle where he took out the Dracos with a wind. Arthur's avoid was so high that after their leader died, the rest of them just stayed their avoiding Arthur and he just picked them off one by one.

    And in the grand finale, I baited out Arion's group to move into my army's range. And I used Ced with Forseti to nuke Arion. Then I took care of the Sleep Edge Wyverns and finished off the others. Goodness this was an epic ass chapter. Heck this whole game is on an epic scale I haven't seen before.

    FE4 is truly one of a kind. And can't wait to get through the last two chapters. Tine has her Kill Bill list ready and she's coming for Hag Hilda's wrinkly ass next.
