    Shadows of Valentia Discussion Series - Zeke: Mysterious Knight

    Today, we are disucssing our final character, Zeke.

    Zeke is a playable character in Shadows of Valentia.

    Surviving the battle against Marth's army in the War of Shadows, he was washed ashore to Valentia. Here, he was nursed back to health by Tatiana, who he would soon fall in love with. He was named "Ezekiel", Zeke for short by King Rudolf, and forged a common trust with the King and rose to become a high ranking general in the Rigelian army due to his sheer strength in battle. Before the war started, Rudolf told Zeke to look for a boy with a mark on his hand. He ordered Zeke to follow this boy as the boy would be destined to save all of Valentia. He opposed the war with Zofia but nevertheless followed orders. When Jerome, a fellow soldier, started to attack villages, Zeke attempted to stop him. However, this resulted in Tatiana being kindapped by Nuibaba, forcing him to fight for them.

    Should Tatiana be rescued, upon seeing Tatiana among Alm's forces, Zeke immediately turns on Jerome's army. After the battle and when he meets Alm in the village, he notices the mark on his hand and defects to Alm's army. After the war, Zeke lived a happy life with Tatiana. He recovered all of his memories as Camus, but he chose to keep this revelation to himself and vowed never to tell her of his own dark past.

    How would you feel if we got a FE17 leak on the level of the 3H leak?

    With the bits of discussion about the next mainline FE title in the series, it got me thinking to the time before Three Houses' release. I remember how a lot of people were either disappointed in what we'd seen so far from the game, and others that weren't disappointed wanted more information because it was very unclear what kind of game it would be.

    That is, until the massive info leak that happened on this very subreddit. A lot of people called it fake because it seemed too good to be true, but the amount of information given to us was so big that it was difficult not to hope to see certain things become reality. Then, it became reality.

    I personally don't know how I'd feel about such a leak at this point. It worked for Three Houses in my eyes because I really wanted to have some hope that the game would be good, and the trailer that confirmed the leak gained a lot of hype from me partly due to it. What do you all think?
