    When I first played Three Houses, I opted to go Black Eagles. I really enjoyed that arc, and especially Edelguard's role in it as an interesting morally gray character. I then played a bit of Blue Lions, which didn't quite live up to Black Eagles imo. After setting the game aside for a few years, I picked it back and decided to go with Golden Deer, just because I hadn't played them. On the surface, they just didnt seem that interesting.

    Well, I'm only to chapter 5, but wow, I think it's my favorite house. Each character is way more interesting than they appear. Hilde is a nuanced trickster. Raphael is the broest gym bro. Every scene with Marianne is wholesome af. Ignatz is endearingly dorky. Even Lorenz, who is ofren cringe incarnate, is growing on me. I'm still waiting to figure out Claude's deal. Leonie is a bit boring as a Jeralt fangirl, but one semi boring character beats the other houses.

    And when these jokers interact, it's either wholesome or hilarious or both. I might still stand by saying Edelguard is the most interesting character, but the Golden Deer are the best house!

    My sister is doing an Hoshido run and she wanted my input on the classes for kids. I haven't played the game in years but she wants to know the optimal classes for them. What should I say? She doesn't like using "traditional" classes for these kids. For example, instead of a diviner for Mitama I suggested marrying her to Dwyer and classing her as a maid.

    Last round's results are as follows: Arthur Hype B, Czene A, Kramer D, Faye A.

    Each round will be up for 24 hours. I'd say provide clear reasonings as for all ratings, but that can be difficult in a tier list such as this. So, just try to give a reasoning if at all possible. Regardless, be kind and respectful to fellow voters. At the end, a hub index will be made to summarize/link to all the rounds and units.

    Rules:

    1.) Be respectful to each other. Feel free to debate, question, and corroborate any other voters, but do please be kind to each other when doing so.

    2.) Hair accessories can be taken into consideration when voting on a unit.

    Tiers:

    Fantastic Hair/S: Just really great hair. Either looks good or pulls off a unique look very well.

    Ex: Ward, Sylvis

    Great Hair/A: Above average hair but falls below the juggernauts of Fantastic hair. Can be a unique design that falls on one or two merits.

    Ex: Reese, Elbert, Izerna, Axel, Czene, Faye

    Good Hair/B: Slighty above average hair. Either a style that works or a unique style that has a few notable merits.

    Ex: Ruby, Arthur

    Average Hair/C: Average hair. Either very average hair or a unique style that doesn't really add or detract.

    Ex: Adel, Leon, Christine, Dean, Volo

    Bad Hair/D: Poorly done hair or a unique style that falls flat.

    Ex: Kramer

    Worst Hair/E: Just god awful hair. Hard to look at.

    When are you hoping for a new(/remade) FE game?

    Nintendo usually does a January or February direct, so in my opinion we may know what game is being remade next month! IMO Early January is a good bet.

    But then a friend reminded me that Advanced Wars was delayed to April, so we may not get a confirmation until after April, as to not mess with the hype cycle.
    Still I think the games are different enough that we could get an announcement next month, as long as the release date is late.

    It has been a while since we got any spin off or remake, so I think mid-late 2022 is a safe bet, meaning an announcement in January would be perfect.
    Where are your thoughts at though?

    Here's a Strawpoll to determine the map we'll be discussing for Week 26. Feel free to leave any suggestions for maps you'd like to look at (that aren't already listed in the index thread).

    Objective: Seize

    Marth's army has to wade through a group of pirates. Thieves on the top right will target the house on the top left, and all enemies on the top right (except thieves) and a few Cavaliers will rush the player from the start. Darros and Castor appear as enemies on this map and can be recruited.
