Asking for help creating a FE3H inspired campaign for D&D 5e

If anyone is into that here, I'm working on a magical school campaign that both educates its students in whatever field they would like to study and trains them to serve in their nations army for a period of time. It will be a combination of the new magical school inspired dnd campaign book, Strixhaven, with bits of Fire Emblem thrown in. What aspects from Three Houses do you all think would work well in this type of dnd setting? Have any of you done something similar before? If so, how did you go about it?

So far I am planning to do the following:

Players will be assigned to a squad and team leader they will perform exercises, drills, and missions with for their time at the academy. This is simply an in-game reason for the party to meet up with each other more than once a month even if they choose different schools.
The colleges are set up as Lorehold for studying history, Prismari for Art, Quadratix for math and physics, Sliverquill for language and oration, and finally Witherbloom for biology and medicine.
Players will be able to take on missions or complete certain quests similar to how one does so at the end of the week in 3H. Students will travel to different worlds or parts of the school to do so using a travel portal found in the main section of the school somewhere.
There will be a war game once a month (or maybe every other month?) that pits squads against other squads for various prizes such as 24/7 unlimited dining hall or special requisition privileges.
Special exams can give access to interesting spells and abilities students normally would have access to such as their Strixhaven background spells or abilities known by certain teachers
