    Blue Lions and Golden Deer are just odd as they mention Edelgard being interested in you and wanted to recruit you. Yet... You barely interact with her.

    Hell, her song only makes sense if you picked Church Route.

    It just seems like a wasted opportunity.

    Am I the only one who wishes these two had a support together? Their personalities seem like they would mesh so well together! I just feel like the dialogue would be full of intrigue too. Missed opportunity if you ask me.

    The Flickering Visions In The Opening Cutscene Are About Sothis' Past...

    My Predictions

    Were wrong, unfortunately, but the photos provided below in the previous post should be relevant with the extra lore that we are given in "Cindered Shadows". I will add the same text as last time. This time with added photos to explain more.

    Now I will show you the Images to the Opening cutscenes that will tell about Sothis' story and I will try to explain what could be happening in the cutscene.

    This is the Beginning, When Sothis came to Fodlan as a meteor or ball of light that falls down to the planet. The Agarthians call Sothis Fell Star. Why might the Agarthians call Sothis Fell Star is because of ancient human's accounts and stories when Sothis fell and the stories that were passed down to them about Sothis. The form Sothis takes I do not know, but it could be something else then a dragon. Can't tell.

    As we can see a tower. In my predictions, the idea of the Tower of Babel came to mind. What I suggest what take place here is Sothis is observing humanity and talking about how the ancient humans of Fodlan interacted with each other and how humans built structures. I assume this is before the time Sothis reveals herself. Sothis could be acting like a god to the humans and not yet proposed "salvation".

    This photo here, is located in the "Seasonal of Warfare" Collectors Edition". As we can see, a much more clearer overview of the tower.. It appears that this is the place Sothis landed on when falling to the planet as meteor of some kind. The huge crater being evident of that. It would appear that the humans built a city inside the crater for Sothis.

    As we can see Sothis in her adult form with a similar dark outfit as her childlike state and the ornaments on her head with hair tied up to make them shorter. I can not tell that the flowers on her head are lilies or flowers for that matter, but is clear that Sothis is a full grown woman in this state. This is when Sothis reveals herself to the humans of Fodlan and propose to them there "salvation". According to Rhea when she was giving a lecture on the history of Fodlan.

    Knowing Rhea and her experiments, Sothis should have the same face as Sitri, Byleth's mother or at least the likeness of Sitri's face. Of course, that's just hypothesis though we don't really know if that is the case.

    This is the same scene with a clearer backdrop, but this time Sothis is covered up with a white robe and we can not see Sothis at all. Of course, this part is to not reveal Sothis being a goddess at the beginning of the game.

    As we can see ships being razed on fire. I am going on a whim here, but I think this is when a war breaks out with the humans, and Sothis is observing the war and is talking about how humans can be inherently violent to each other. A extreme idea is that Sothis is the one who caused or the one who ordered the war to happen during ancient Fodlan before the ancient humans became technologically advance, but it could be Sothis is just observing. I can't tell, but another idea could be that these ships were razed by more technological means of warfare. When Sothis was giving knowledge to the humans back in the day. This could be one of the results. Which would lead to more advances to technology of warfare.

    Now, we can see Skyscrapers in Fodlan and how the architectural design gives out how much more technologically advanced they are at this point in history. Also we see javelins of light that seem to work similar to ICBM piercing through the sky and they seem to be destroying the city in this scene. I think this is when the humans of ancient Fodlan start the "Advance Wars" a reference to the game, against each other. After words they start a war with Sothis according to Rhea.

    I am assuming this is the aftermath of the war or if not the aftermath at least the aftermath of the javelins of light destroying the city. You can tell by the collapsed building and how the city seems to be in ruin. What happens after this scene I do not know. This could pan to Sothis doing what she was doing in the book "Romance of The Worlds Perdition" according to the Agarthans. Where she flooded the "world".

    Conclusion

    As I said before, even though Rhea's accounts are quite questionable they still hold merit because Rhea was there or if Rhea was not there specifically Rhea was at least there to be part of it, whatever may that be. Wither it be reading about it, getting someones account on it, or just being there at that point of time. Also, Rhea is one of the few who can say or describe the past about Sothis. Also, I assume that I.S. has clearer versions to the other photos that I could not get a clearer version of.
