    Mercedes and Jeritza probably have my favorite support and ending of the whole game.

    Goodness just finished a Crimson Flower Route after a long break from the game. And while personally CF and Azure blow the other two routes out of the water. One of my favorite things about CF is the exploration of the history of Jeritza and Mercedes.

    For me the siblings each represent the polar opposite. Jeritza being darkness and Mercedes being light. Both faced with tragedies in their lives and took a different outlook when dealing with it. And what is ironic is the Death Knight persona manifested out of Emile's desire to protect his sister and mother.

    But even though the two seem so different. What makes the end of their support so great is they are willing to except each other no matter what. Emile doesn't run from the monastery and swears to keep Mercedes safe until the war ends. And Mercedes embraces the darkness of her brother vowing to love him even if his split persona slays her.

    Goodness I just couldn't imagine Crimson Flower now without Mercedes. For me with her supports she just gives Jeritza more character, and we learn about what drove him to take on the Death Knight persona. Though I do get some people might like the drama of the siblings facing off against each other at the end of CF.

    But for me, having them come to terms with their turmoils was great to see. And for me the support chain ended with one of my favorite endings being Emile finally goes back to Mercedes and their mother and they live together as a happy family. Showing that Emile was touched by the light his sister possesses, and shed the Death Knight persona it seemed for good. The only ending it seemed to happen since all his other ending still had him lowkey snuffing people 😂
