    Greetings, fellow FE lovers. I come with uptades on Language of the Emblem. Now, it's something you can actually use, not just read. I present you:

    Language of the Emblem: Path of Katakana

    What is it?

    It's a complete method for leaning katakana, using Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light's assets, plots, vocabulary and lore. It's not just "embellishments", but the method actually draws elements of the game, making it a somewhat gamified material.

    EDIT: you don't have no know ANY Japanese for this; it starts from zero!

    Is it a game?

    No, it is a pdf course. A textbook. But it has its own plot and mechanics, somwhat like a game, sometimes. It's not always like a game, as it's a pdf. But I assure you it's not a boring textbook course.

    Is it complete?

    Not yet. There are 20 chapters planned. I finished chapters 1 to 5. I'll update the website (and announce here) in batches of 5 chapters.

    Where can I find it?

    You can find everything here. If you want to jump into the pdf for chapters 1 to 5 already, it's here. The Memrise companion to the course is here.

    What is this "Memrise thing"?

    It's a companion to the pdf textbook, containing flashcards to practice. Also, as I can't add audio to the pdf, you'll find recordings for every new sound and word there. I don't really think it is just optional. If you really want to learn Katakana with this, you'll need to use the Memrise course as well.

    As soon as I finish a new batch of Chapters, I'll update the website and post it here. Also, this could work like a "demo" of the method. For anyone that tries it, I'll accept any feedback that could help improve it. You can leave it here or on the website.

    I'm loving this game so far, I thought I'd regret it since I never played a Fire Emblem game in my life but this is the one game I could see myself aiming for 100% completion in. There's just so much to do and all of the characters are so like-able, I've done just about every side quest that comes up, hell I'm kinda disappointed I'm only limited to a few tasks every off day.
