    Well..

    I beat it.

    Through long turns, poor planning, blindly throwing units at the wall until something stuck,, save scumming and reseting I beat Genealogy of the Holy War. Coming from someone who started on the 3ds games and was wary of the older titles, I implore others in the same boat to play this game. What the fuck. No one told me this writing was so good, that these characters were so good, that each and every chapter would have consequences and impacts.
    It's probably an immensely cold take, but this game is phenomenal, and though it probably doesn't matter to most, to anyone in this sub weary of this or any other older FEs, PLAY THIS. Better yet play it blind or mostly blind, maybe look up pairings to get kiddos, and have some random dude help you out with a late game event that almost brought the tears out

    This is a super nintendo game, and yet it made me feel emotions so many new titles WISH they could evoke. All through beautiful pixel art, wonderful story, masterful music and a colorful cast. Once more for those in the back, PLAY THIS.

    Who ideals or philosophy is your favorite throughout the whole series?

    I think the best thing when it come to characters in fire emblem is their ideal/philosophy. While everyone wants peace they all strive for it with a different mentality. Take for example Alm who ideals are that if you want something you gain it with your own hand not by sitting around waiting for it to land on your lap. Or the Nohr siblings who all believes in creating whatever family you can no matter the circumstances.
