Shadows of Valentia Discussion Series - Silque: Adherent of Mila Posted: 22 Sep 2020 05:19 PM PDT Today, we are discussing Silque. Silque is a playable character in Shadows of Valentia. A wandering cleric in Mila's service, when Silque was young, she and her mother, a priestess of the Duma Faithful, went on a pilgrimage in Rigel. She was a sole daughter and never met her father. Suddenly one day, her mother left her in a priory in Zofia, before vanishing without a trace. She was raised as an orphan at the priory. It was Mila's temple that sheltered and saved her; thereafter, she made it her lifelong goal to share Mila's teachings with those suffering from loneliness. Before the events of the game start, Silque leaves the Priory to delivet the turnwheel to Alm. However, she is attacked by brigands twice on the way to Ram Village; Jesse saves her the first time, but she falls unconscious during the second and is kidnapped by the thieves. When Alm hears of this, he immediately rushes to the Thieves' Hideout to rescue her. After defeating the bandits, she wakes up and tells the party who she is. If Alm rescues her, she hands him Mila's Turnwheel and explains how it works to him. However, if Alm skips the Thieves' Hideout completely and never interacts with her, he instead receives it from a merchant at the beginning of Act 3, who informs Alm that he received it from Silque. If Silque is not recruited into Alm's party, Celica can visit her in the same location in Act 2, revealing that the two know each other. However, Silque will not join Celica's party in spite of that. After the war, she heads to Rigel to heal the wounded. Silque is supported by:

Just played the first hour of Three houses and here are my thoughts... Posted: 22 Sep 2020 10:17 AM PDT This game is amazing, I know I've only played a hour of it but it's the best FE game I've ever played. The opening cutscene was amazing (they rlly need to make a FE anime) the look of the game is amazing, the sound design is gorgeous. The characters from my little experience are very diverse. I know I'm late to the party but I had to wait to get a switch and the game. Three houses is simply amazing. [link] [comments]
What new classes would you like to see in the upcoming games? Posted: 22 Sep 2020 02:47 PM PDT Or what classes from previous games would you want to come back? In terms of new classes, there weren't too many that were introduced in 3H. From what I can remember: brawler/grappler, gremory, and holy knight. One I'd like to see come back is brawler. The brawler branch was quite fun and the gauntlets are pretty unique, essentially being brave weapons with really low might. I'd really like to see slightly more modern steampunk-style classes in the next new game (not remake). Something similar to machinist from Final Fantasy, using rifles. It would be similar to the archer class, but maybe it would have a larger range or have added status effects like immobilising the enemy. I'd also like to see some support classes! Although, there are rally skills so this may be a bit redundant. Regardless, there could maybe an offensive support class, which could do damaging magic (similar to Reason in 3H) and buff attacking stats, like magic/str/spd, and a defensive support class that heals and buffs defensive stats like def/res/luck(/skill?). From previous games, I think Fates had a lot of cool classes that could return. Like malig knight, kinshi knight, and ninjas. [link] [comments]

Posted: 22 Sep 2020 04:40 PM PDT I really wish the Golden Deer students weren't made to be fodder in second Gronder Field battle. It would have made saving Deridu extra satisfying if some of your former classmates besides Hilda were there to help you in the last stand for the Alliance. That or at least have some of them survive so they can show up later. Maybe they could've vulnerable units that need saving - like villagers and students - before they join the fight. Seeing familiar faces sprinkled throughout the war is such a cool feature of the game so I was hoping for a bit more. [link] [comments]
