    Hey I made a video looking into Sylvain's character growth over the course of his supports. I personally love how his character initially seems shallow and one-note, but he eventually subverts that expectation by having the most depth out of most of the side characters in Three Houses.     As there didn't appear to be any attempts at translating this song--one of the vocal arrangements from the Premium Arrange II album--online yet, I'm giving it a shot.

    Disclaimer: I am not fluent in Japanese, so I expect there will be some mistakes. Corrections or suggestions are welcome.

    *印 in 印して can sometimes be translated as "emblem," so I chose this wording as a loose reference though a more simple translation might be "remember it."

    **More literally, this is something like "touch them with this hand." But I thought "move them" was more the implication in context.

    ***The word used for "fate" here is 運命 whereas it was 定め in all previous instances. They have the same pronunciation (sadame) as pronounced in the song, but 運命 can be pronounced "unmei". There's no clear difference, but it seems like 定め might have a feeling of an unchangeable lot in life/something commanded to you.

    I took some liberties with phrasing, but tried not to go too far. In some spots I wasn't entirely sure on the correct grammar (notably 絆 それが友に 遠きかの地 共にめざし and 祖国を思いて 道は堅く 大義に この世界の果て), so I gave it my best guess.

    Overall, the theme of these lyrics seems to be "turning sadness and loss into the strength to persevere and make your own destiny."

    Calling All Stans: A Compilation of Character-specific Subreddits

    TL;DR: There's gotta be a Felix subreddit, right??

    See title. All Fire Emblem characters are best boys and best girls and best people, and it's cool that there are so many communities here celebrating them as individuals. So many, in fact, that it's difficult to keep track of them all. While it's easy to find subs like r/Lucina or r/Flayn, etc., I'm guessing that there are other subs out there with non-obvious names. I mean, characters like Felix or Mercedes probably have their own fan subreddits as well…right?

    So: PLEASE share any and all subreddits dedicated to specific characters!! I just wanna spread the love for everyone's favorites. If you've created a sub/know of one, please let me know. Hoping to create a comprehensive list of all of these, which I'll update regularly if anyone is interested.

    How does Falchion have an advantage against Grima?

    Just something I thought of when I was watching a video on the future past.

    How do Chrom's and Lucina's Falchions have an advantage against Grima while it's in Robin's body?

    I mean it'd make sense if they were attacking the dragon itself but they're not, they're attacking a human body that's being possessed by an Eldridge dragon god and to my awareness Robin's body is still human (it doesn't look like Grima has made any modifications). The only reason I could think of to explain this is that the falchions attack the soul of the dragon rather than the physical bodies but I'm not sure if that's ever explained.

    Admittedly it's been a while since I've played awakening so maybe it's explained and I just can't remember so if anyone else can remember, mind sharing, please?
