    How would you describe the continuity between Fire Emblem games set in the same universe?

    I'm curious as to other people's thoughts, since I noticed things like how Thracia has certain canon relationships that may not apply at all to Genealogy. There's also stuff like how Grima's backstory wasn't really developed until Echoes came out, painting him much more tragically than what we see in Awakening.

    Personally, I think the series tends to have a lot of contradictions or narrative gaps because of things like that. Although, I would say a lot of it is the fault of future material not linking up with previous material when past material never accounted for it, like Lyn's existence not being a thing in FF6. As a result, it's not the strongest knit series in my opinion.

    What character do you have no sympathy for?

    There are a lot of sad characters in the series. You have Cormag who loses everything yet must moves forward, you have Marianne which is very self explanatory, etc. But sometime there characters you feel zero sympathy for, personal example of mine is Nino. I can't stand her cause she abandon her kids despite the fact that she believed her parents did that to her and why she thought she wasn't loved. That and the game really try to make you feel sad for her.

    “Wait, you’re still alive?” Character

    Basically what characters are you surprised made to the end of the game. Only choose playable characters if it is on a route where you can't recruit them I.e. a hoshidon unit in Conquest.

    For me it'd be Gunter in Revelations. Due to the obvious signs (aka not having any supports despite having them in conquest), I assumed he'd either betray me, die or both. Turns out he betrayed me but somehow survived? I honestly thought he was going to die but then he showed up at the end for some reason. Did anyone even really use him in revelations? I tried but his growths really hurt him in that game.

    Can we talk about how friggin' amazing Neimi was as a unit?

    No, seriously. Never in my history with Fire Emblem have I seen an archer unit more accurate and (with a touch of time) more devastating than her, except for maybe Rolf. She was, far and away, one of the top-tier units I had in the later end of Sacred Stones. Never-Miss Neimi was my GIRL. Then again, maybe that was just me being blessed by RNG.

    Hi all!

    As a newcomer to FE Hacking, I wanted to create a little project for myself in order to familiarize myself with FEBuilder. I had a simple idea of "Can I replace every playable unit in FE6 with a character from FE7", and after 2 months worth of work, I now present the FE6/7 character swap hack!
